Malvern College Switzerland
Headmaster's Welcome

Thank you for your interest in Malvern College Switzerland, the youngest member of the Malvern College family of schools. Our location in Leysin, amongst the majesty of the mountains, is a wonderful place to live and to learn.

Together we are creating a new school, blending the time-honoured traditions of a premium British boarding education with the cosmopolitan buzz of a forward-thinking international school. Our educational approach centres on developing the eleven Malvern Qualities in our pupils: resilience, self-awareness, open-mindedness, kindness, collaboration, risk-taking, curiosity, ambition, independence, integrity and humility.

Our website and prospectus will, I hope, give you a good feel for what it is we're offering. But there's no substitute for coming to look around, or talking to me or another member of the team in person. We understand that choosing the right school for your child is a big decision. As experienced educators we can support and advise to ensure that your child flourishes whatever the future may hold for them.

Leysin History
Malvern College Switzerland is located in Leysin, a municipality of the canton of Vaud in the Aigle district of Switzerland. It has a rich history, first being mentioned in the 11th Century as Leissins in the Swiss official historic records. Today, Leysin is a sunny alpine resort village at the eastern end of Lake Geneva, bursting with activity and is one of the most sought after locations for academic study in Central Europe.
